And it's light as a feather, right, about half the weight? I got a '64 like that. I got a clad Magician's coin that comes apart and has a two-sided reverse (the second side's a Mexican coin reverse). I can understand the "trick, there (to switch between the reverses), but not on the '64. I'm almost positive the '64 is hallow (I'll bet I can even bend it in half, if I tried). But, it has just a normal Kennedy reverse. Some "trick."

Eddiespin - you are all too correct. "They'll" always have another idea for that extra $$. Although, seriously, is there ever really EXTRA $$?

Haven't picked up any rolls lately (before today) but when I was in the bank today I asked the teller if she had any, she said "yes" how many rolls do you want. I took two due to what was in my wallet so I wouldn't have to write a check for them.
First roll opened I got 2 clads, a 67 and a 68; was also able to fill three holes in my Circulated album.
Second roll = nothing.

so I had to go back to town to pick up grandkids from school, swung by the bank and got the last 4 rolls from the same teller = nothing. darn! thought I might have hit on some rolls a customer was hoarding and then cashed out. Oh well, the 1st roll was exciting for a change.

SDCOINGUY - You are in a county of almost 5 million people.. put it on Craigslist.. If you want more exposure put it on the Inland Empire and Orange County Craigslists as well.

went through a box today only one roll had silver 14 66-69 40% very happy with that roll!

I sell my silver on E-bay and even after all of the fee's and there are alot between E-bay and
Pay-pal, I still make a nice net proof far better than any local coin dealer/shop would ever pay me for the coins!


Just check out the going prices for rolls of 40% and 90% Halfs on E-bay and do the math etc from there.

I'd agree with Craigslist and/or ebay. I'm going to list some this weekend. I've been watching auctions for a couple of weeks to see what rates 40% and 90% single, lots and rolls have been going for.

Craigslist is easier if you don't mind folks either coming to your house or you meeting them somewhere, my only issue there is everyone always wants to haggle and I hate wasting time with someone who may not really be interested unless they are getting a steal. I'll probably go with ebay.
