more and more I see tellers snagging them up. I think they are getting the picture. at least that is my theory behind customer wrapped.

the other day I was in the coin shop and 2 elderly women stopped in. they had a HOARD of silver coins. SLQs, franklins, walkers, etc. she looked to be in hospice, she had her caretaker with her. anyway, she sold about $180 worth of coin. she had no idea what she had untill the dealer told her. but I guarantee that her caretaker made her do this because the older womna had no clue, she would of just went to the bank! o well. I think more and more people are realizing what they have and are going to cash them in the smart way. not as many people going to the banks and dropping them off.

Searched 2 boxes and pulled 1 40% from each, painfully slow searching lately.

Was passing a local bank who usually has dump coins from "MM" but decided to stop in to get some filler halves. Ask the teller who promptly goes around rounding up the halves from the surrounding tellers. I was disappointed at first because usually when they are loose you can spot the silver or hear it when they put them on the counter but I couldn't hear any. A little disappointed but 7 dollars worth was sufficient. Get back home and there is a 68 and a 70S in the enevelope! First 70S! (and silver!)

FOUND MY FIRST EVER FRANKLIN ! (1960) ....

I went to a bank that I've never been to before and got $80.00 worth of loose halves which were put into an envelope for me. Took them home and found one 1964 90%er and this Franklin !
I was just complaining about never finding one.....and "presto" .....ask and ye shall receive !
OH Man !.....that made my weekend !!
