Got a Fed box today myself (& nickels)......hopefully it'll be better than a "zero" for me again too ! And.....I am constantly reminded that I've NEVER found any Ben Franklins or Walkers while searching halves.....only Kennedys is all I've EVER found.....and I've searched totals up there with the "medium range" half hunters ! ....  $1,000.00 - $2,000.00 every month as an average......but why have I never seen anything but a Kennedy in all that searching, in all this time ? ... it isn't fair I tell you ! .... 1-1963D Franklin (Silver Plated by a knucklehead!)

Eaglefoot - I'm surprised you haven't had any Walkers/Franklins based on your location in the middle of the country. When I travel to St Louis - I do pretty well roll searching the local banks for nickels and halves. You aren't that far off from that part of the country.
I'm sure you'll hit one of those mother-loads one day.

Ive only found one franklin and the rest have been kennedys, the franklin was when I first started out and it was in the customer wrapped roll, its my favorite coin

Well.....I " did" get 100% skunked...  ..no silver....no NIFC's....no Proofs....no keepers whatsoever....and no Franklins or Walkers still too of course ! .....  Now to start my nickels...... |

I don't have the woes of eaglefoot, though today I too got skunked on $30 in CWR. Did fill three holes. Anyone take red marker down the edge? If so, I've found your dumps.

Cleaned out the bank vault - $460 ... one NIFC 2001P but that's it. These were Strings & Sons rolls, but it looks like my area is hit pretty hard. A lot of marks on the coins, from at least 5 different searchers. Better luck next time I guess.

Well picked up my 3 boxes and got thru 2 of them last night... "maybe this roll, no maybe this roll, no maybe this roll, no maybe this roll, no maybe this roll, no maybe this roll, this has to be the roll, nope lets try this one, its gotta be in here, @#$%* its gotta be in here" Get the picture? Have one more box to do but stopped and did some nickels. Talk about getting beat up... |
