As stated I mark almost what I would call "terrible" coins. I have seen marked proofs and BU's and am boggled. No one wants the coins I mark (before or after) so I do not see it as bad.

And to bring me out of my funk is a 1920 heavily worn walker! First silver in 6 boxes! Happy day!

Happy day indeed. Sorry to tripost but I just opened the next roll in this box and it was 2 walkers (43,45) and 2 ben franks ( 57 , 52)!! I still have about 30 more rolls. This is the most silver I have gotten from any box ever!

ok so this will be quad post 10 90% (mostly walkers and franks and 1 jfk) and 1 40% (68). Best box ever! This has definitely given me my second honeymoon with boxes. Won't be cancelin box orders for sure!

Just went through a brinks box and 25 strings rolls. $750 worth of halves and all I got was an 81 proof! Grrrr. There's another bank with 400 in the vault so I guess I'll dump these and get them, but I think my area is too well searched since I find more silver from teller trays than from boxes! Oh well, I'll just switch back to nickels when I get too frustrated.

Thank you! I was about to call it quits on boxes for a little while. Not anymore!

At the local SATX coin shop, I used to search bags bought from a local armoured car service. In them I would find U.S. and other world silver coins and at times 1/10th AGEs in the mix.

I'm confused. I picked up two boxes today from chase bank. The armored service is loomis, but they were all brinks wrapped rolls. Im going to do a little undercover work on this. If anyone has any ideas on how the process works I would appreciate the insight.

Good luck. I have run into some similar situations. Dunbar dropping off Brinks, Loomis showing up at a bank that uses Dunbar. Only thing I can think of is when there is a shortage, they inter-change between carriers.
