Quote: Cracked the 3 rolls and the 2001 proof appears to be silver. There's no guesswork, really. In that condition, if that's silver, that edge should be snow-white.

I picked up a box today, my best ever. 3 90% and 67 40%. Hit a few banks too and got 11 40% and 1 90%.
My total for the week was 7 90% and 101 40%.
The box today had a lot on either end, so it is a lock that 2 other boxes have a load too. I upped my order for next week at the early banks, but probably someone else is enjoying. Until next week.

90percenters, Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. I've gotten some boxes that say "Inspected by CWI #04 June 9, 2010" and others that just have a 4 digit number and nothing else.

Wow Nobis! Jackpot! Ugh..I always get discouraged when I read about people's streaks of getting skunked, but whenever someone finds a box like that it makes me want to try. All right..I'm sold. Ordering/ picking up a box next week!

Got 2 boxes yesterday, went through one last night. One '69. The bank has a standing order for me for 2 boxes a week. Havent been looking at halves lately, they have 8 boxes waiting for me. :)

Tracked down $300 this morning by driving to every bank I could find within a 10 mile radius. I ended up with 4 40%ers a '67 and 3 '68's. None of them I needed to fill the short set of 1964-1970 that I need. Oh well, guess I'll have to start building multiple sets Take care all.

Quote: short set of 1964-1970 You know, that's an idea. One of these days I think I'm going to get all of ours out and see what kind of grade we can build one of those in; if for nothing better, just out of curiosity...

I have had very good success building this one in a high grade from roll searching eddiespin. I have found all of the proofs except for the 1970S. The only one I cannot find in a grade better than VF is the 1964. That one is a thorn in my side each time I look at my collection. I'm guessing I will have to sell a roll of 40%ers to fund one that grades high. That is, if my collection is complete and that is the last one to upgrade.
