Just went through 4 Boxes and found:
Box 1 - 1 40% Box 2 - 2 40% Box 3 - 1 40%, 1 90% JFK Box 4 - 1 40%, 6 90% JFK
I found a really nice 1970 S, my first '70 S. I had a string of skunk boxes and it looks as if, slowly, silver is coming around again. Happy Hunting!

Hey thanks, Chuckster! This one worked out good for us, 40 at 40%! Bag was 3 halves short out of a count of 866 ($433). That's not bad, either.

I keep getting these coins from Panama in my half dollar boxes at the same bank location (nowhere else). What is up with that? Do they package them in the branch or just dumb luck?

I'd say someone who had a bunch of them returned em at a coin machine in your area. I just pulled one of these two or three weeks ago.

I would be happy to grab up a few hundred JFK's but I get the "we don't have any" at almost every bank I have been to in the past year around Boston and MA, is anti casino so if any of you have some ideas of where I could possibly go to snatch some up just message me and let me know... Some 90yr lady came into the bank the other day and dumped 300 rolls of Ike's and that was cool but not atoll common.. actually it was more like the highlight of the past 4 years when it comes to coins from the local banks..lol

So last week I had my bank order me $2000 in halves and they came in air tight bags instead of rolls. I was suspicious and kind of gloomy when I got them home. The first $1000 bag I found 4 40% . Which I thought was not to good. Second bag I got 1 90% and 33 40% and and a handful of uncirculated looking 1876's. I feel like I had robbed the bank I got these from. I'm curious if that's good, o.k or normal find? My bank would only get them if I bought them in 1000 bags and wouldn't leave them to sit at the bank.

Hehe.. I hope you're talking about 1976's there..lol ;). They aren't really worth anything, very common..
