WOW!!

I haven't seen silver in ages. Got a silver dime, but I almost don't count that. I will get another box today and see, maybe I will get a little lucky.
It's the dump that makes me nervous.

From a teller's tray, two 40% halves, a '66 and a '69-D. Also, I've heard this may have been not intended for circulation, a 2001-P.

Silvercoinpicker, Loomis does watch for the old silver to come through. They pay minimum wage, after a background check, and post employees at the hoppers where the coins are dumped. When someone spots a silver, they yell "WHOA". The entire operation comes to a halt, so that the employee can pull the silver coin from the bin. The revenue lost from such a process is more than made up from the sale of that silver. I'm so sorry I'm full of crap. Who knows what exactly happens? No one's been able to provide proof.

All I know is if I were them I would. BTW, you ought to familiarize yourself with the term "run-on sentence." I'm just sayin'...

@SilverCoinPicker

I was getting the $1k bags from Loomis and in 13 bags I got almost 100 silver coins. In one bag I got 30. Loomis wouldn't have anything to do with them since they were coming sealed from the originating banks with the bank stickers, Teller #, etc posted right on the bags

$1,000 bags should be coming directly from the FED. If the bags are sealed then Loomis has not been through them.
