I should clarify that the Easton Bank was the bank of issue for the Nat'l Currency, not where I found it! :-)

Where I bank at I guess I'm just lucky to have gotten in good with the people that work there. they let me dump as much as I want. I've been trying to cut back dont want them to get mad and start to charge me. I always try to take care of them cause of what they do for me. Where I get the bags from the other place I bank at deals with loomis. and the teller there told me she would order as many bags as I want long as I get them all out that day. I just started hitting good finds. When I hit that 100 face value of silver halfs. Went threw 30 bags before that and only found like a half a roll. I can do six bags in a day but after today 5 bags 10,000 coins kinda hurt my head

sorry not good at posting

Is good to make a good relationship with your tellers . Today my teller at one of the banks where I get my orders told me I could dump the halves there after I searched trough them ! I didnt have words, she saidi just have to rolll them up or she would give me a plastic sealer bag to dump on it and deposit on my account . The only Problem is I never found a single 40% from that bank because is kind of conected to the dump main stream of halves on my area (i know the 2 biggest dump banks coins always end up coming back to that bank as boxes ) , every box from this bank have 95% of coins marked so dont matter how many boxes I search a week from them I dont think I ll ever reach the silver there once the hardcore searchers ll keep dumping where that coins coming from ! Compreende ?

How do you go about getting bags of halves from Coinstar? I have never seen a machine being emptied so I can't ask the service guy who does it, since they aren't already bagged by the machine I guess I would have to go to the home office....is that a security problem for them to show up at the office causing them to just shoo you away? any help ple ASE

$3k in halves today yielded me 5 Proofs! No silver to mention but Proofs really plugged some holes in a big way for me. One of them was a 2000 S

Till next week!

park, no reason not to.

OK, went through the two other boxes from the BOA. Total haul of 16 silvers. 1 64, 1 65, 1 66, 6 67, 6 68 and a 69. And a 95 proof plus another chromed one, but with no counter stamp. I told the head teller there today to please order 2 boxes a week automatically until I yell stop. Hehehehe

The silvers from that haul ar ein the middle. The rest of the halves are the ones I have kept from the last 7 or 8 boxes. NIFCs, and other general keepers.

FMV Prices (Good-MS60)

      G4 VG8 F12 VF20 XF40 AU50 AU53 AU55 AU58 MS60
1996W 1.73 2.01 2.30 2.59 2.88 3.45 4.03 4.31 5.75 9.20

FMV Prices (MS61-MS70)
       MS61 MS62 MS63 MS64 MS65 MS66 MS67 MS68
1996 W 11.50 12.65 17.25 19.55 24.15 35.00 45.00 100.00

Let's see. If everyone can agree that it's au58, it's worth $5.75. With tremendous luck, it might get 66 after paying $30 to have it slobbed, making it worth $35. You will then have a coin with a net value of $5, while the TPG has $30 for a holder that cost them a buck, tops.

What was the question again?

parkquarters I have to agree with biggfredd. if your coin came from circulation then most likely it is not a ms67 or ms68. most coins that came directly from the mint would get ms66 or maybe ms67. I think you would spend more money getting your dime graded than it would be worth. if you are planning on selling it then your best bet would be to sell it raw. you could probably get $12-$15 for it. do not get it graded.

The more I search the more I'm convinced..boxes are like cookie jars with everyone's hand stuck in it. The cookies are either grabbed before they ever reach the jar or are grabbed by one of the hundred other hands leaving you with only crumbs.
