Wow, you found a fully furnished home in that bag. If you can just determine the address, it'll be a real score. I think I have some Nic-a-Date I can send you.

Nice finds guys ! 2 weeks brake from searching duo my broken car , I got tired of put money on my 2001 intrepid and sold for $400 today to a mechanic . As the guy towed the car from my parking lot I was feeling as one of my old coins was going down into drain pipe , oh well tomorrow I'm going to a dealership and might buy another ( never dodge again) I ll be back next week full steam for my share of free silver !

Good Luck Ricardo! As a fellow searcher, I just got back into it after a two and a half week break!

I went to a new neighborhood today, and found lots of new banks. One street had about 8 banks in a half-mile radius! One was a small, local bank that had lots of loose halves and even Ikes. I found 3 40% halves and 5 Ikes. It's been a good week.

One box down today. 2 40%s! MY folder is ALMOST finished as well. They are all about AU to BU so its been quite a process. I have them all EXCEPT 2002 P. Of all the NIFCs I have found, that one has eluded me thus far.

For those of you who search customer wrapped rolls, I'm wondering how on earth you get them? I once found a branch that had $130 in customer wrapped rolls. I bought them and they were all marked, they were someones dump. Today I called around to about 7 Wells Fargo branches near me. When asking for half dollar rolls they all repeated what I said in sheer confusion. It's like they didn't even know what half dollars are. And then most said no after and maybe they might have a couple bucks in loose halves.
I guess I have to just fork over $500 and get a box.

Yes the bOx is the way to go. Just find another bank to deposit them into! Onec you start doing this you can just use the same $500 over and over of course less the silver!

I always ask for customer wrapped rolls because that's where I've found most of my silver halves. Banks only have them on occasion. I just make a habit of asking for any "half dollars or large-sized dollar coins" that they have whenever I go by a bank. Some check on a weekly basis because of location or because I get boxes of other denominations or do regular banking there. Very often banks have one or two clad halves, once in a while they'll have a baggie full that some customer dropped off, sometimes with a few silver. I have one bank that will order me boxes, but they only get one in every few weeks.
