To be honest I dont know much about casinos in other states but at our local casino here on the central coast of california they order rolls upon rolls of halves just to make blackjack payouts easier. My aunt is a manager at wells fargo so I'm thinking this thanks giving ill ask if I can order cases, but if I cant get around fees or if its policy that they dont order them its much easier to have one of my 5 family members who work at the casino to pick me up some rolls after work.

Bish, you can make a living doing this. I do this as a hobby and can't even pay for my gas. Sad.

Nice finds LT! Wrestling_135 - did you break that skunk streak yet? It has to happen sooner or later. I'm hoping you get something soon.

LTMets44, older proofs tended not to be cameo. They were primarily totally polished looking.
So, the final 3 boxes of the week and result... one 67. *sigh* We are into the crap boxes now. Hopefully we wont be in the down swing on the cycle for too long.

Thanks Smokeriderdon. It was nice finding the 69 proof. Too bad it was scratched up.

I had the day off on Friday so I decided to up my usual half dollar order to 10 boxes. I went through 8 boxes and its been slow searching: 3 boxes were skunk, but I managed to find 11 40% and 2 JFK 90%. I will go through the other two boxes today and hopefully have better results to post later.

I have only gone through 8 boxes total since May but had a request for a box for well over a month at the Sovereign bank. Well doesn't look like they will do so anymore

I just recently started searching Half Dollars after searching smaller denominations for quiet some time. I have a 1971 half that appears frosted front and back are both frosted the same way. has anyone seen one like this before?

Silver Eagle, No I haven't broke the streak yet. I'm just doing one box per week roughly now since I haven't had any success, trying some dimes or something so I don't feel like a complete failure lol

I finally got around to searching my two last boxes from the order I picked up on Friday and had much better results: 2 S proofs - no silver 3 90% JFK 1 Walker - dateless 23 40% silver. I guess I saved the best two boxes for last. Happy searching to all!

Sorry...I was excited after a very slow 8 box search. I'm really hoping you will end your streak soon. Are you still searching boxes of halves or have you switched to dimes all together? Search a box of nickels and you'll end the streak very soon. I usually average a war every box or two.

, flapjack2020! Reverse frosting is less likely, but happens. Your pix needs to be about twice as big and sharper.
