My first posting... Here I thought I was one serious Kennedy searcher, until I came across this thread. Now I know, I'm not worthy! (Monty Python reference). <g>
Seriously, though, I've been through 3 boxes and hundreds of other Kennedys. I've experienced many of the same conclusions and concerns as reflected in this thread. It was like heaven finding I am not alone!
I hadn't kept track like some of you, but in about 4,000 coins, I have found 1-'64, 26-40%, a silver bicentennial, a proof 2001, 2-Barack Obama coins (2008P and 2008D) which I peeled off and stuck in one of my books.
I got two rolls of beautiful BU Bicentennials. Plus quite a few BUs
I've been filling six albums. My "A" album is looking pretty darn good, though I haven't been finding many NIFCs.
I have had much better success getting silver from tellers than getting silver from boxes. I'm figuring a rough economy has a lot of people turning in coins, and the best time to find them is before they land in the huge piles of JFKs going out for rolling. And, most of the public (and tellers) doesn't realize those post 1964 coins, the 40%ers, have any silver in them.
I've read about 70 pages here so far, which I think is my limit for now.

After a difficult time at the bank, I was able to order two boxes. They seemed to calm down once I told them I would dump them somewhere else. My father bought half a box with me and I will go over to his place and go through a box with him; the other box is all mine! I'm just gonna let my dad choose his own rolls, or else I'll go crazy worrying if I unknowingly give him the rolls with the silver! Been traveling around to all the local banks for loose halves. Got a call from one bank where I left my number, said they had $32 in halves! Picked em up and got skunked, but that's ok, it's the thrill of the hunt. Gave my card to several banks and asked them to give me a call if any halves come in. Can't wait for the boxes!

How are you getting the banks to sell you half's even loose half's when you do not have an account with them?

Picked up $3 worth of loose half's from my local bank branch at lunch yesterday, kinda got lucky, found a circulated 1996 "S" proof which was in pretty good condition.
It will fill a hole so all in all was a good day!

I've yet to have a bank even ask about my account status when getting rolls or loose change. Of course I don't go to the same banks a lot and I don't special order boxes.

Wish I was that lucky, I stopped in at the different banks on Saturday to see if they had any half's's rolled or loose and the first question I was asked was if I held an account with them. When I told them no then I was informed that they will only sell coins loose or otherwise to account holders.
Guess I am just unlucky

Went by my main bank location today to pick up some nickels and make sure my box of half's were coming in tomorrow and the assistant branch manager that I deal with asked me if I was a collector and was searching for the silver coins. I really did not know how to respond because I was afraid that if I said yes she would tell me that they would not order me anymore boxes. I told her know that we use the half's as a promotion for work and she said that many people come in all the time and ask for loose half's because they want the silver and that if I was a collector she would save all the loose half's for me. Now I feel like a heel and had to admit that I was indeed a collector and would love for her to save all half's for me. She is kinda cute, maybe I should ask her out, might work in my favor :0)

s+s makes coin wrappers, period. What goes in them is the luck of the draw.

Monks - Biggfredd is dead on, SandS is a company that supplies wrappers. But, the coin company I get coins from uses SandS supplies. The boxes have stamps on them, and boxes with certain numbers produce nothing. It is maddening to see those certain stamps. Luck of the draw though.

M0nks, I feel your pain. This is my 3rd week of receiving these same boxes. I had to take two boxes today since my favorite teller had them available for me. The moment I saw them I knew right away I'm not gonna get anything out of them and that's true. The bad part about this is that it's my 4th week doing CRH All of the keepers were from the first week. Since these boxes (of the same code) showed up, I haven't been able to find any keepers. Hope this will end soon.

I had a surprise at my local bank today. My halves usually don't come in until Thursday. Went to talk to a teller today and they had 12 boxes in so I bought them. I am still getting my usual 8 boxes tomorrow. Today's finds: 46 40% 9 90% (4 '64s, 2 '54 Franklins, 1907 Barber, 1935 & 1942 Walker) 4 Proofs Most came from 3 boxes. Can't wait until tomorrow!
