2 boxes.
1 skunk 3-40% in the other.
Above average for me lately.
I remember when I used to pull $200+ in silver from a single box pretty regularly. This is getting painful lately. Way too many marks in my boxes now.

"There is nothing inherently different about them. They aren't produced differently like proof or SMS (special mint set) coins are. They just aren't released to banks in the same way that circulating coins are."
So how you know you had a NIFC? is there any inherent value to them?
Sorry for all the simple questions, at this point I put the New in Noob. LOL

Quote: So how you know you had a NIFC? is there any inherent value to them? You make a list or check mintages in the RedBook. I got $58 on ebay for a roll of au/unc NIFC halves.

Searched 5 boxes of halves this week, 4 from our regular find bank and 1 from our regular skunk bank (I've been holding out hope that we'll actually find something good one of these days). Found 4 64s and 9 40%ers, and a 92 and 87 proof from our regular boxes.
So then I go get the usual skunk box. The teller brings it out to me but told me the delivery guy dropped it and busted the end open. So "let me tape it up for you" She tapes the end then picks it up to hand it to me. The end busts open and all the rolls fall out. She had taped the wrong end. Doh!
Anyway, I get my mutiliated box out to the car and as I'm driving home I see a busted roll hanging out. It's already open so I pick it up and there's a silver. Still driving, I pick up another busted roll. Another silver. Just sitting there. I don't even really have to look. So I pull over into a parking lot and look at the rest of the box. I start pulling silver here, 2 silvers there, and it keeps coming.
32 silver coins! 3 64s and 29 40%ers!
Best box of 2012! and THAT'S why I keep getting the skunk boxes. Eventually, it pans out.

Nice finds VACookey! Just love it when that happens. Went through 6 boxes and only found 1 40%. Wrestling135 - I have my own streak going: 1 40% out of 14 boxes! Happy searching!

My local bank had $240 in CWR. There were some guy's initials on it, but I decided to grab a couple of rolls anyway. I'm pretty sure they were re-rolled rejects. That has kind of a ring to it doesn't it? "Re-rolled rejects!".

Maybe he went to a bank in Arizona ; )
I did a box yesterday and in the 2nd roll I found my first Franklin : ) 2 rolls later a 64 (yay) The rest of the box yielded one more 67 and a couple of real nice NIFC -- after about 5000 coins of skunk city I was fairly happy : )
