wrestling_135... haha not 1030 rolls. I just started and don't have that much cash. I meant $1030 in rolls and $12 in loose change from banks. now that is a lot more beginners luck!

Searched three boxes in last few days, one from one bank and two from another. The one box from the first bank was a total skunk! Next two boxes I found: three 40%'ers, two beat up Kennedy's one Balboa something from Panama dated 1980 a beat up bicentential, reverse shows fog on right half and only ONE74 double die Reverse. pics below, the double die photos didn't come out very good, can see the doubling mostly on the are of Trust, it also shows on the Liberty letters, mostly the T and Y. the doubling is most evident in the inside of the loop on the R, down the slanted leg of the are (almost bleached out bhy the flash) the bottom of the you and S. Took it by a coin shop in Houston and was offered $10 for it due to its condition.

Well, this weekend, I did my first half hunt. I was with my girlfriend, and Saturday we were out the door by 11:00AM. From 11:00AM-12:00PM alone, we hit up 10-12 banks. From 12:00PM-2:00PM we hit up another four. From reading everyone's posts about hitting up banks, it seems like you all (seem) to get a good bit from each bank. Well, in those 14-16 banks that I went to, I got $34 in halves, total. $24 was from one bank, alone. They had two, what looked to be customer wrapped rolls, which I was excited about. But, in those $34, I got one 1965. Rolls were all duds, which kind of let me down, but the fact that I got one, made me happy. Went to one bank today, and asked for their halves. She said they had $4, and of course I said I would take them. I was just leaning on the counter and saw a silver dime set aside. I asked her for it, but she laughed and said it was hers. So I knew right away that the $4 in halves would contain nothing, which of course they didn't. I had a lot of fun, though. Here is my first, in all its glory.. (sorry, need to post since it is my first, of hopefully many)

Went through 6 more boxes and to my amazement I found exactly the same thing in the last box as I did in last box of four boxes I had done previously, except no proofs. 5, 90% kennedy 4 were UNC 1, 40% It's always nice when that last box is the saviour.

Found 140$ worth of cwr halves, most had years written on the rolls, they were all picked over. When I dropped them at another bank, the teller said she had a cust who would be excited to get them. I wanted to tell her they were duds and he shouldn't waste his time, but thought I should hold my tongue...

Ozerman,
It must be the different regions we're in from other people on CC. I hear many people saying they got a bunch of CWR's at their bank, and I have never gotten even 1 in all the times I've asked.

Congrats to NYBrian on your first . Nice finds, Bish! 1970d! My boxes were again delayed on Friday. She said they had a large coin order and couldn't get any in or something. I know from the last time they were delayed not to complain, because the ones that did finally came gave me the 2 walkers I told y'all about and the 14 other silvers! So, I'll wait....you never know!

Hello, been reading this thread a week or so. Figured I would join in, and post my finds. Iv done one box this week my first, and no silver, found four nifc coins. Saturday, had to dump some nickles and dimes, first stopped by one of my regular banks, and got my order set up for 2 boxes a week, told her she wouldnt get them back she said good lol, she also said she had 90$ worth cwr, searched them real quick outside, nothing, added them to my dump, then went to my dump bank. Will post back when I search boxes 2 and 3,starting next week I'm set for my weekly order.
