2 Boxes today. The first one was a complete skunk. I only got 6 NIFC out of it. The second I got 3 90% and 2 40%, but one of the 90s was a 1963 Franklin! My first Franklin find roll hunting! This calls for some fruit

It is indeed Monk! I was contemplating changing banks because I was getting skunked a lot, but I'll stick with it because I have a friendly teller.

I second that comment: How long did 12 boxes take you, and were they all from one bank or multiples?

Lucked out on 2 boxes over the weekend: 1-90% and 271-40%; 5-90% and
10-40%. If I could do that consistently I'd cut back on my day job.

That's terrible. Did you think of doing more boxes per night? I think you need to do more boxes per night.

Monday I had such a happy thought. The teller here at the Garner BB&T branch said she actually had $300 in halves. My heart sank after I realized they had all been opened. It would also appear that someone marks the label after rewrapping so as to know it has already been searched to see if the get the same roll again. Bummer! I bought them and checked for errors instead but nothing. They were well sifted. Lots of the Bicentennials in there too. Arghhh.....lol. But I also got 3 boexes of pennies and 4 rolls of quarters too. The quarters yielded a few more ATB, US territories and statehoods for my collection. The pennies yielded 35 wheat pennies, a 1941 Canadian penny plus other years. It yielded a 1976S Proof penny. Lots of 60's and 70's both for copper and also a variety of the 82.
Now if only they managed to get my halves ordered in Wilmington for Wednesday! I find out soon.
Congrats to all of you on your recent finds. I will get there eventually.
If there are no halves I may try some dimes until they can get some halves in.
Halves are so much easier to see....lol
happy hunting!

Nice Viper. I've never found one of those. I'm also waiting on the Magicians coin that most people find in the half hunt. They say you'll know it when you grab a coin but I wonder if I've let some slip by.

Okie

Any suggestions on getting a good avatar? Some of you have such bright clear ones. I tried to do a 1909 VDB penny, but didn't make it.

My avatar is just a picture of a coin that I really like that I found online. It can be but doesn't have to be your own coin.
