I find dimes very hard to search. My eyes ain't what they used to be, and it's pretty hard to see the dates.

Oh and I forgot to mention I found my 2nd Gold Plated Half Dollar -- I had asked when I found my first one if anyone had any ideas to the origins of stuff like this --no replies , maybe this time someone will speak up if they know?

Are they counter-stamped 1960-1980 or 1960-1985 I believe these where for the anniversary of JFK'S inauguration.
I have found 8 so far.

Bishift... I thought that all proofs had a mirror background and a FROSTED IMAGE. Kennedy looks the exact same as the mirror background (64 and 69). If those are proofs, I've thrown tons of proofs back because I didn't see the "frosted" Kennedy :S

Simple fact is there is no one best service or bank. It is all a matter of luck of the draw.

Precisely. People act like there's significance to string and Sons wrappers. You can buy all you want at Dollar Tree.

Well went through 8 more boxes from BOA NADA
My luck has to change sooner or later. I'll just keep trucking.
Might try Chase again for a while just for a change.

Fred, the reality spot would probably pay better...lol.

I imagine the banks would just love to have a crew running around with TV cameras.

Half the show is having Dad and Son fighting on OCC, Gramps and the kid fighting on the gold show, and everyone picking on Chum Lee on Pawn Stars. Coin hunters tend to be solo.

I think he must have a 10 gallon stomach too. He eats tons of food. Is lanky and still keeps saying he's hungry after a huge dinner.

When I was a kid, no one else won eating contests, and I was 144# when I graduated.

My standard order was 20 White Castles, lg choc shake and large coke, and it was gone during the 25 mile trip home.

Just clear the whole reverse side of the coin and start carving away.

Carving halves or quarters would provide an interesting bonus. Deeper cuts would provide a copper color.

Just like Japanese Watermelon carving, where they have dark green skin, light green rind, and red core.
