M0nks Pillar of the Community United States 1770 Posts	Posted 04/07/2012 1:46 pm welcome to the forum lonz and yes you will find huge amounts of NIFC's one time I found around 75 2010's took what I needed and dumped the rest back all the NIFC's I found I was able to make full rolls 2002 PD - 2010 PD now I'm just waiting to fill my 2011 rolls and fred good idea! haha Report this Post to the Staff

When looking for this error, make sure to have a good magnifying glass seeing how the FG often is worn and may not be extremely visible to the naked eye. You will see the faint outline of the FG. If it is not there, BINGO and you are in luck. In 10 boxes so far, I have only found one 1972D with the missing FG. It is now in a foldover. My personal grading would have it around the $25 range on E-Bay. 1982 - NO FG 1982 - NO F but G is Present 1972D - NO FG 1980D - NO FG 1982P - NO FG Report this Post to the Staff

On my last boxes, I simply placed my searched halves back into the original wrappers and wrote my account number on them. It was much easier than rolling them at a later time in loose paper rolls from the bank. I guess this should have been obvious but I was excited with my first few boxes that I simply ripped those suckers open and tossed the searched ones into a large, glass container I have. :) Report this Post to the Staff

JCWhitney must have sold a lot of those gold-annodizing kits back in the '80's. You may come across date counter-stamped halves also. trapper Pillar of the Community United States 830 Posts	Posted 04/07/2012 9:16 pm Went to dump some coins at 1 of my banks, there was this guy there cleaning the coin machine got to talking with him he told me there was quite a few companies rolling the coins for the bank for nothing but they get to keep all the silver they find. Now how big of an area he services and how many banks or which banks are involved he did not say. He did not seem to want to divulge that info. Also did 4 more boxes nothing nada no nifc or proofs or silver. So that's it for me for awhile. Good luck happy picking Report this Post to the Staff

Well it turns out that an old lady deposited an entire roll of walkers and an entire roll of franklins. The kicker...the teller snagged them! She knew they were valuable, but she didnt know how much. Well I put on my friendly face and looked at them. The franklins were in mint condition, and the walkers were from g4- au50. The oldest walker was 1917s. I offered $500 dollars, but she said she wants to hold onto them. Its just painful to being so close to a score and then get nothing. But I am happy for her. Report this Post to the Staff
