bdw9714 New Member United States 22 Posts	Posted 04/19/2012 1:54 pm Can anyone tell me anything about this? The entire center is raised up on the obverse and sunken on the reverse. Almost as if someone gently "pushed" on the center of the coin. There are no scratch marks or anything to indicate a blunt force. Is this a mint error or is it obviously post mint? I'm new to the errors stuff so I have no idea how to identify this as a true error or just a messed up coin. Report this Post to the Staff

She had 1 Ike and 18 halves. Out of those 18 halves were these: 1963D 1964 3x 1964D 1966 3x 1967 1968D 2x 1969D I was grinning from ear to ear walking out of there. Most silver I've ever scored. wrestling_135 Pillar of the Community United States 802 Posts	Posted 04/19/2012 10:41 pm bdw, I think it's just how they are made, something with uneven stamping I was guessing. If you look at the different years of halves, you'll notice they have different sized Kennedy heads, meaning they are using different designs. I think that is an early 70s design flaw, not a clue why. If you find out differently, let me know! I have thrown some AU ones back like this. Report this Post to the Staff

I'm supposed to have 2 more boxes today from a new pick up bank, but they called me yesterday at 10 till 5, and just left a message for me to call them, wondering whats up, usually when a bank calles and I miss,they tell me on the message my boxes are in.
