First Citizens in my area ordered me boxes for few weeks. Then they either cut me off or charge $5 per box. Don't put high hope on them.

Bernie,
I found one of those copper statue of liberty coins
in the reject tray of a coin counter at WF about a month ago. On another note I went to dump some halves the other
day and my wife was talking to the guy behind me he told her he found a Krugerrand and a silver dollar in the reject tray once at the same bank. Almost every time I go there I find foreign coins in the tray

Jakarta,

Were the boxes from Loomis? Also, what kind of results did you have?
Rest in Peace

Great, if you get it slobbed, a rotated modern half should be worth big bucks. Keep us posted.

Trapper: I find foreign coins almost every time I go . I also find change in the reject tube; one time I found $20 worth of change in the tube, blocked by the halves bag inside the machine.

Bernie, The machines I use do not have bags they have large bins on the bottom on wheels with a handle you can
pull it with. They hold a lot of change.

As for dimes, there were a lot more made and most big searches have hit the halves and quarters.

I think next week, I am going to try for some dimes in the mix with my halves.

Sounds cool, Trapper.

I'm doing good all around, with dumping, and finding cool foreign coins in the coin trap and reject tray, and also I'm still doing good with the halves.

I'm thinking of starting to get into halves. I've only done cents and I wouldn't mind collecting something new for a change. I got a question though, do certain years of proof halves contain silver?

HalfHunter, I'm sure this has been discussed but what bank are you with?

All, I need some advice. I went through 3 more boxes this week from my bank with nothing. I'm not sure of the exact count but I'm at somewhere in the neighborhood of 28 or 30 boxes with only one single 40% coin to show for it (unless you count a guitar pick and worthless angel coin). This bank started out great. In one of my first three boxes I found 17 90% silver coins. I also found the monster with 302 40%ers. Mixed in the middle of those coins was pretty much 2 to 6 silvers per box. Then, all of a sudden, it goes dead. Now, I realize you have hot streaks and cold streaks but at some point this goes from being a bad luck streak to me needing to wake up to the reality that my bank or courier is simply giving me dump coins. Am I crazy to think that or just paranoid? I've went from 4 to 2 boxes per week. I'm considering going to zero. What should I do?

Owassokie

I Get 4 boxes from a local bank, but I'm not gonna say that one on here, I also get 4 a week from huntington, and just got my first 2 last week from pnc. New boxes for me, thy were the big flat ones, with black and white rolls from garda, they skunked, everything else is from brinks.

Dont know what to tell you to do. I know I'm in a similar situation then you, one hog box, and alot of other scraps. I'm gonna roll with my 10 a week for a few more weeks, if my average gets to low, I may abandon all boxes but my 4 from the local place for a while.

I emailed you also about that penny roll trade.

BOX #14 - !

JFK-Half-Dollar-Roll-Hunters:-Silver,-Proofs-And-Other-Finds

Only one silver in the last six boxes. Maybe 15-16 will produce better luck on Thursday.
