Picked up 2 boxes and $500 in hand rolls today. Pulled 3 from the boxes and 12 from the hand rolls. Also searched a few dimes and got 3 silver roosevelts. I hit the dimes now and then and am down to 10 holes in the book to fill.

Just finished searching 2 FED boxes of halves and found 3 40% silvers. Hopefully next week will be more rewarding!

I agree, brinks boxes have been disappointing lately.

I agree - all my boxes have been waaaaay down for the last couple of months. I cancelled all my CWI box orders and am focusing on brinks. All my dumps are going into the CWI boxes so that may help in my territory. Just did 6 boxes and pulled 3 40% coins. Not really worth the time anymore as I've got all the NIFC coins I will ever need and any proofs found are usually beat up. I'd be happy to find a few odd foreign coins...

The end of half dollar silver searching doesn't look too far off, I have been very dry lately

I drove around yesterday on my "circut" of about 15 banks. None of them had more than $4-$5 worth of loose halves, and there wasn't an silver coin to be had. At one bank the teller said she thought they had a box in the vault. Sure enough, they did so I bought that. (I figure someone ordered that and is going to be upset.)
I ended at my dump bank and turned in all the halves I had picked up, plus about $400 worth of other halves I had found. When I was leaving that bank there was road construction and I got so turned around and lost I couldn't find the highway. I pulled into a parking lot to turn around and it was a bank! I went through the drive through. I picked up (2) 40%. My only silver of the day was because I got lost!
I just got done going through the box and it was pretty odd: 90% - 0 40% - 0 (nothing odd so far) 01P - 4 02P - 7 02D - 3 03P - 6 03D - 2 05P - 2 05D - 2 06P - 2 06D - 3
I've never had that many NIFC's from one box before!

Great box Gothic F! I would love to work through a box like that, all I got from my almost skunk box is a 1988-S proof? this has a mirror background and a frosty kennedy ead with only a few minor scratches. I looked in the Red Book and it said 7$. Does anyone know how much this baby would actually sell for and how often you guys find them?

Not worth much as it has been circulated unless you are really lucky and get it before it shows any wear. I still hang on to them if they are real nice but I don't think they sell for much on ebay by themselves. I have seen some full sets get pretty good bids. Maine_Jim

Most people aren't interested in proof Kennedy's below PF-65, so any kind of circulation would immediately knock it down to below PF-60. I agree with Jim - you won't get much for it, but ebay would be your best bet. Still nice to have though!

I picked up some customer rolls on Friday. 3 rolls from a bank that I had gotten silver from before and 4 rolls from another bank. The 4 rolls from the other bank yielded nothing, but the other 3 rolls had 35 40%ers. One roll had 16 and another roll had 19. I check at this bank every week as this is about the 4th time this has happened in the past 3-4 months. I have also gotten some 1964s there but never anything earlier. When they have halves it's usually about 3-5 rolls and about half of them are silver, and I'm guessing that the same customer just brings some in every couple of weeks.

Hope its better than my last one- pretty much was a dud and lately I got 3 customer wrapped rolls and they were dud's also. (ZIPPO!) :(
