Gold Planner,
For E-Bay, take an average spot value and then do the following: . 1.) Determine the silver melt value for the coin. If you need help, feel free to PM me and I can help. 2.) Multiple the current melt value by .119. 3.) Subtract the amount from step two from the spot value in step one and then subtract another .30 cents from that amount.
This will give you a fairly close value of what you will end up with if you sell the coins on E-Bay.
This being said, always check the coins for rare dates, mint errors, and the like.

Oh, I did forget to mention that in my last two boxes I found around six gold plated halves.
The coating was worn off in some places, and all dates were common dates.
Just thought it was interesting to find them so soon after others had mentioned similar coins in their boxes over the last few weeks.

Ken, I hope you pulled some silver keepers, too other than those gold plated coins.

Another great box last night. I addition to the silver, there were tons of BU 1970's coin both with D mint and no mint. Ironically, the silver was pretty beat up and seemed to have been well circulated. The totals were 1 1952, 6 1964, 5 1965, 6 1966, 13 1967, 7 1968D, and 6 1969D. So 37 40%ers and 7 90%ers. I'm pumped That's my best box in awhile, and I would classify it as my third best box. Oh, and I did find a BU 74D DDO. I find this DDO regularly but not in BU! OO

I went back to the same bank I was at yesterday and picked up another $140 in half dollars. In the second to last roll, I ended up with a 1934 Walking Liberty! I will post a picture later.

Jakarta,
There were no silvers to pull. I also found a decent number of marked coins with a mark I have seen before.
I think I have recovered one 1969-D in the last eight boxes I have went through. When Brinks started delivering the grey-and-white wrappers the numbers declined quite drastically. Before, they were yellow-and-white (String & Sons I think)and my numbers were much more decent.
I need to approach a few other banks and see if they might order them for me if I opened an account. Also, my local chapters of my CU are starting to nicely let me know they really do not like the halves. That being said, I have banked with them for over 20 years and hold my decent IRA there as well. I try to spread the dumps out over the five local branches. Thus, I plan on continuing to do what I have been doing.
Heck, I only do two boxes a week on average and sometimes I spread that out over two weeks.

8 box total today : 54 7 @ 90 % : 1-52P and 1-61D Franklin and 5-64P JFK'S 47 @ 40% 1-1966 JFK- die clash under designer initials- looks like part of UNUM from the Reverse. 1-79P- very nicely toned- hard to pick up the obverse colors, but the coin has real nice streaks of gree/blue on the diagonal. reverse has nice purplish/green hues to it. * 2 more boxes to go for tomorrow. 1966 JFK - Die clash pics 79P toned JFK
