As for 1987s, I think I have found four in about 18 boxes so far.

Of these, about two were in near BU with the other two being average wear but nice all the same.

All are kept in a tube marked 1987. I am hoping to add as I go along but I have not found any in the last six or eight boxes.

Wrestling, Nice my man. Finally have a little good luck. I googled Tough Mudder. My first thought was that you are probably the only person on this forum that would even consider something like that. Then I see that coindog is planning one as well. I'm only 35ish but I'd have trouble competing with guys that are 55ish. Anyway...good luck. It looks like you'll need it.

I forgot to mention that my 1 box on Thursday yielded a single 1968D. I was happy to not get skunked. Further evidence that the tide has changed at my bank.

I know, I know... three posts in a row. But I keep forgetting to mention something that happened a couple weeks ago. In one of my normal BofA boxes, I found about a dozen 40%ers. I also had something that happen that has never happened to me while crhing. Matter of fact, it may be a first for this board. I actually found a 40%er that someone had marked. That's worthy of dancing fruit If I'm going to get a fellow CRHers dumps, I guess I'd prefer to get them from someone who dumps the 40ers!

Owasokie, the event isn't to "win"... it is to finish. Part of the rules are to help your fellow runners through events. My team is planning to spend extra time at a few events to help people who need help. We're excited.

Is this becoming a disease? I was ten hours from home in the middle of Ohio picking up my son from college. He was twenty minutes late meeting me and I was sitting on a park bench enjoying the nice weather. I noticed a branch of my bank across the street. What the heck, I walked over there and asked if they were stuck with any half dollars they'd like to get rid of. Yup, $180 worth! Of course, I took them all. Okay, not a perfect ending, as I got zero silver.

Atleast some of you guys are having luck. Last weeks 6 boxes yielded one 40%. My new pick up bank, iv gotten 8 boxes from, and 4 40% total. I'm gonna give them 2 more weeks, and hope it picks up. I got 4 boxes from them friday, and one box had 85% marked coins, by the same person, iv seen his marks before, I might cut down to two boxes a week, we will see. Got 2 boxes tommorrow, and 4 friday. Good luck to everyone this week.

I picked up $100 in rolled halves from Brinks, I believe. I ended up with one 1967. It's my first silver half in more than a month, but it seems like it was longer, so I feel it's appropriate to use some dancing fruit.

you are having my luck. I did finally get a silver dime this week. I did have someone ask me yesterday to recommend a good spot to sell some silver coins she got. She had four rolls of dimes a roll two rolls of quarters and a couple of kenndy halves and a couple of morgans so of course I said that I would buy them. But my question is what is the going percentage of spot to offer? I want to treat her fair and offer more then she would get at a dealer.

Gold Panner, you can gauge the price on ebay for these coins. The final price less about 20%, to me, seems to be fair. ebay and PayPal cut about 13% from final price. There will also be tax on profit as well. I don't know the exact rate but it's quite high for collectible items. If you can pay cash, I guess it's a win-win for both parties.

Junk silver I would say is "retail" at 90% of spot for 90% silver coins and 80% of spot for 40% coins.
