Boxes 11 & 12: NIFC: 01P - 1 01D - 3 02P - 2 02D - 3 03P - 1 04p - 1 05D - 2 06D - 1 10P -1 11P - 1 1979S - 1 66 - 40% with REV doubling of all letters - MD I am sure - but looks cool anyway! Since I search all 72 P&D, 73D, 74D, and 82Ds, I decided to keep count on those to see how many are in 2 boxes: 72P - 139 72D - 36 73D - 15 74D - 20 82D - 3 I know the past boxes I have done have seemed about similar in number for these years/mms. Meaning the 73D DDO I got in box 10 was found after only searching ~150 of these. Yet now that I have done 12 boxes, I have gone through ~1600 72Ps and no sign of a 72 DDO. After ~120 74Ds I have not found a 74D DDO. So I guess finding the 73D was just beating the odds? Also after ~430 72D's, none have been missing the FG. And I see little chance in ever finding an 82 no FG if I keep getting such low totals of these.

Earle42,
I think I have now done around 30 boxes and only found one 1972-D NO FG. I am also hoping to find the other NO FG dates, but I feel it may be some time.

Oh, that's good to know that's it's not just me. I'm not really interested in errors, but decided to give it a try to find the no-FG on 72D Kennedys. Others have been making it sound like those no-FG varieties are a dime a dozen. In six boxes, I've found one in which there's no F and you have to strain under a magnifying glass to see anything close to a G. That's it.

Sorry for the confusion ! It would be nice if it was 66 40% - I just meant to say it was a single 1966. Sorry about that. As to the 72D no FG, I did find two that the FG was very hard to see, but when tilted at the correct angle the FG became apparent. I also started dumping more of the NIFC 2001s back into the rolls. Its funny how many of those I have found.

As for the non-FG, there are so many that seem not to have the FG until you look at the right angle or see the traces under the loupe / magnifying glass. It was about the fourth time looking over my 72-D that I was convinced I had the real article. There was no trace whatsoever of the lettering or outline.
I hope to find the other versions sometime in the future, and wish good luck to everyone here also looking.
As for NIFCs, I do not collect the 2001 coins. Like Earle42 said, there are just so many of these showing up in rolls. I do tend of keep any 1987s and 2002-2012 halves though.

Beautiful finds, Bish! You didn't say it was a Standing Liberty quarter! I was taken aback when I saw the picture! What do you mean when you say your "half dollar proof shipment"? you buy them on a regular basis, and search them? never heard of such an opportunity here on CC.

Hey Trapper IV got them all besides 1979,1997,1999, and 2010, also found in silver 1976, and 1969. Did you find both 1979's type 1 and 2? I also have 38 1987's

I've been skunked so much lately. I might find one 40% after going to half a dozen banks! The heat hasn't helped, either. I found a teller with 90% halves the other day, but she was keeping them for herself. I got a little irritated, but I realized I need to go to more than just banks. I was running errands today when I saw a coin counter at the supermarket. It's not a Coinstar, but a private one owned by the store. I thought "What the heck?", and asked the manager if he would sell me halves. He said yes, and pulled the bag out for me. It had $95 in halves. 2 1964 17 40% My skunk streak is long gone!
