I've just started roll hunting so I've only gone through 3 rolls so far. I enjoyed doing so even without finding anything really worthwhile. Going to keep it up and get a Dansco for them.

Dumping Kennedys in the machine today, and I scored an 1880 Indian Head cent in the reject bin.

After reading about roll searching on this forum it sounded like fun, so I gave it a try and picked up a roll of halves at my bank and to my surprise I found a 1964 Kennedy... must have been beginners luck :)

Couldn't even find any rolls today, tried 3 grocery stores and a bank and none had any.

hi everyone!

just wanted to let you guys know,
I sold my first batch of 40%'s ever today.

I dunno, I just felt like, I'm gonna sell these
and start accumulating again.

I called 2 places: one offered $1.50 for each; the
other, a guy I know slightly from around town, offered $3.25
each.

All in all, sold 141 40% halves @ $3.25 each.

Not a bad profit margin!

Cheers

I went to some more supermarkets and scored an unopened bag of halves. They said it was $45, but it ended up being $47.98 and a guitar pick! Two 40% and no 90%. I went by a bank and got two more 40% halves. Not a bad day...
