Hey folks,

First time caller some-time listener :) I don't have any very interesting finds yet (just NIFCs), but I've been enjoying working on filling out a full set of clad coins anyway. As I go through each year/mint stack and pick out the best to keep for my collection, I figured it would be easy to write down the numbers in each stack. The results have been kind of interesting, so I thought I'd post here in case anyone else might find it so.

Firstly, I'll say that I'm in Washington state and have been buying mostly from the main office of a credit union, which has tons of shotgun rolls in the vault, and have started buying from a merchant teller at a BofA branch that serves a lot of cash businesses that seems to have CWRs. I've only bought about ten rolls at a time each time, and have not bought a whole box yet.

My being in Washington would seem to be at least a little relevant given the overwhelmingly Denver-heavy rolls I've been getting. Have halves circulated so lightly that they've tended to stay in the region nearest their mint, or is there something else going on? (I've found almost as many 1976-Ds as Philadelphia coins across all years!) Also, I've found not a single 1985, which seems very odd to me. It wasn't a heavily-produced year, but wasn't as light as some years I've found multiples of. Am I missing something?

Awesome find! Havent posted to the thread in a while. Since our 100+ coin boxes we have been on a terrible streak until today. At best we would get one or two a box (though my last one coin box the one coin was a 63 Frankie) if any at all. We only get 2 boxes a week now because Capital One stopped allowing anyone to order boxes of halves. Evidently they sent out an email to their branches telling the to point such customers to their local coin shops. !@#$%^&*(*&^%$#@!@#$%^&*( Flipping idiots! ARGH! Can you tell I am not happy? LOL

Anyway, today we got 2 64s, a 66, 5 67s, 2 68s and a 69. That was the silver. Also got an 89 Proof and best of all..05P, 07P and 08D MATTE FINISH! If only one had been a 98....

Bought my first box, still sealed from the Fed, today. Found two 67P in very nice shape! My first silver. And also my first button/token/something. Now just to really sort through the thousand half dollar pieces I quick-sorted onto on my dining room table, oof.
