Just finished my Dansco Kennedy half dollar album!! All MS-63. It took about 13 months to put together...but it was worth it!

The casino in Cherokee, NC now uses the paper tickets. I do not think there are any coin related machines at all.

Just the same, I do not go there seeing how I feel they are a joke when it comes to a casino. Most casinos I have been to list their payout percentage somewhere in the casino. I have yet to see one posted in Cherokee, NC and have heard they are the lowest paying casino in the entire US chain of Harrah's casinos.

Now, this being said, when they first opened I did have a half dollar that kept falling through the machine. It turned out to be silver.

congratulations, I have been thinking of doing the same, looked at MS-65 but decided my budget wouldn't handle it so I am backing off and looking at the possibility of putting together an MS-63 set.

Kenscott I believe the only reason the casinos here have halves is when they run low on 50 cent chips. I didn't see any other reason. Nice silver dollar silverdollar.

Boxes 14 & 15...

Really the only thing I kept was a 1911D and a couple other NIFCs - but it was still fun!

I also finally got my album back here and noted that the 1979S I found a few boxes ago was a clear-S type type, so now I have both Type I and Type II from circulation.

I found no DDOs and no missing-FG pieces. The totals for the number of DDOs (or missing-FG in the case of 72D and 82D) per date found/searched in the last 6 boxes is:

72P - 0/425
72D - 0/94
73D - 1/54
74D - 0/55
82D - 0/6

I am wondering what the numbers will be up to by the time a goodie finally graces my collection?

Second box in a row with silver... this time 5-40%ers. Also picked up 7 NIFCs. Not exactly ready to retire on this, but beats the heck out of those skunk boxes.

Also upgraded 3 coins in set #9 and 1 coin in set #8. I'm not sure why I decided to stop at nine complete sets of Kennedys. I think if I hit ten sets, it would be a sure sign of mental illness.

Total Searched since Sept 2011: 20,548
90% 8
40% 182
Silver Proofs 1
Franklin 2
NIFC 91

I checked a few more supermarkets. Half of them said no, but I found a couple 40%. I then found some banks. One teller had four 40%. I went by a couple more, and one had six rolls. Five of them had nothing, but the last one had 12 40% and 3 90%. Best roll ever!

I've always heard stories about rolls like that, but never saw one. I usually find maybe 2 or 3 silvers in a roll, if I'm lucky. I was getting pretty ticked off, and almost didn't want to open the last roll.. I went back to the bank to make sure they didn't have more!
