Congrats on the Bennie morgantype. Now if only some nice person would dump a few thousand Barbers or seated liberties into a coin counting machine!

Don - Congrats on the four Barbers! I found 2 in a box once and will never forget that box.

My bank forgot to order my usual 2 FED boxes for me last week. The girl who orders was on vacation the week prior, I was a little let down, but what can I do. I should be getting 2 again this week. I did pick up a Brinks box from another bank on Thursday and didn't find a thing except a 1985 S proof. Keep searching!

Although the silver may not seem super high, I'm happy with it because I finally got some 90%s!! The two 64's and the 69 were from the same roll!!
But heres the cool stuff- I also found a1986 S statue of liberty commemorative, a 1996 grease strike, AND A 1974 DDO!! I friggen loved this box!

The new teller who seemed to have an attitude last week because she had to get my boxes of coins out of the vault, just happened to forget to order my boxes for this week. I've got more coming from another bank on Friday.

I'm new and just got back into collecting again. I picked up my first box of Kennedy's. It was a lot of fun looking since I also needed some common dates.
However, I only got 1 40% out of the whole box. Maybe better luck next time.

Let me ask what to you do with the ones you don't want? Return them to the same bank or some where else?

Bill, I find it best to take them to a different bank, not a different branch of the same bank. That way you don't make your "buy" bank mad and hopefully you will not get the same coins back in future boxes.

My first box I got from my new bank was really good! Today I stopped in to ask her to order me another box...and she told me she had to ask her manager when he got in. I later got a message on my voicemail that they would prefer not to order me any because Their change orders are for their business accounts. I wonder if I should call the manager back or go over his head? Any thoughts?

Just find a new bank. Unless you are in a very rural area, you don't need to deal with banks that aren't happy to help. You could always make the uncooperative bank your dump bank.

lol! I called the jerk back and told him that was going to be the case! Actually after that I started writing an email to the corporate office. I hope to have a response by Monday. I will open yet another account and make this one my dump if I dont get no satisfaction. There are 4 other banks within eyeshot of this one...but I just opened this account 2 weeks ago. The manager is just being a jerk...He even told me that it's HIS policy..not a corporate thing!

Alright everyone check out this find-

First off some of my regular boxes didn't come in Tuesday,
so I called some different banks and decided to try and double up my order for next week. If they all come in I'll just get that many more. One bank called this morning and left a message to call back and I figured they were going to say we can't order you any coin because you don't have an account here. But when I called back they were actually already there (2 boxes). Here's what I got out of 2 boxes-

3-1964 JFKs
8-Bens
9-walkers
18-40%ers
