Some close ups of the incredible condition 1968d's. Many of the silvers were numismatic quality.

Well, I guess that's about it. I think these were from collections. Almost all of them were in almost BU or BU or Gem BU condition, both silver and non.

Time to do my weekly boxes!

Results -
Box #1 - 1968 x 1, 1976(s) x 1
Box #2 - 1967 x 1, 1968 x 1
Box #3 - 1969 x 1
Box #4 - 1966 x 1, 1967 x 1, 1968 x 2
Box #5 - 1964 x 2, 1966 x 1, 1967 x 2, 1961 x 1 (Franklin)
Box #6 - 1967 x 2, 1969 x 1
Box #7 - 1964 x 3, 1967 x 1, 1968 x 1
Box #8 - 1964 x 1, 1966 x 1, 1967 x 3
Box #9 - 14 - A big 0
There was another two boxes not in the picture hence the 14 boxes

What's the best way to figure out the percentages on the boxes? I came up with 2.73% using the scrap value of the silver against the total $ sorted... Is that right?
Any input is appreciated.

I'd find percentages by doing this:

# of coins found / 1000 (which is the total coins per box) = your silver find %
eg. Box #3 = 1 / 1000 = .1%

That means that .1% of the coins in that box contained silver.

mtldealer... nice finds! I'll take those every day of the week!

What data are you looking to glean from your hunt e.g % of what?
