I may try B of A but know of a little Wells Fargo in a sleepy town nearby I will likely try first.
Thanks for the info.

Quote: forgot to post some of my last box finds. couple good ones, so not a complete loss. Do not forget to post! You know this is the only reason why I read this thread. Okay, it is not the only reason, but it is a big part of it.

I went to another town that I've missed. I've always meant to go there; I guess it just slipped my mind. Right away, one teller had a 40%, but she wanted to keep it. She was polite about it, so I let it go. I then went to a couple more banks. One teller said, "An old lady just dropped off some halves." Sure enough, there was a '63-D in MS with what I think is full bell lines! Also, two 40%. I went to more banks, and got a couple more 40%. One last bank yielded six more 40% in some old rolls. Ten 40%, and an MS Franklin. All in all, a good hunt.

Well, went hunting in a new area yesterday, and since I haven't opened any additional accts yet, I just have to get what the rolls that the banks have on hand. Well, I only found 2 banks, out of 8, that had any halves. So I got all six rolls I found. Unfortunately the teller who gave them to me told me, "They've been searched through 3 or 4 times, you still want them?" Sadly, I said, "sure" and took the rolls to the car. I wasn't expecting much, but I had hoped she was wrong. AND SHE WAS! BOOM. 2 40% Silver halves ('69 below and a '67 which is not pictured) and a 1999 S Proof! Needless to say, don't let a teller who says they've been "searched through" discourage you, they don't always know what they are talking about!

So true! Whenever a teller tells me there's no silver in their tray, they usually give me a 40%. It happened to me just yesterday!

jbuck, yeah, she is wicked with finding cool stuff in the half rolls. I found the first Walker, but SHE found the 38D. She has found the commems and the one major error. I think I will keep her for a while yet.

finally got my coins back from NGC. had some freebies for my Morgan and Ike error coins so sent a couple kennedys as well. Some unexpected grades and some disappointing. I posted the medallic rotation a while back and it came back surprisingly high grade. The PF66 FS-104 is the only DDO certified by NGC which is good I guess. NGC did not designate my (2) accented hair coins as Accented so guess i'll be returning them to be corrected. this one is an accented hair, and it got a star as well. can't believe it didn't grade cameo though. I don't get that part of their grading system.

Bish - I agree with you, I don't see how that proof didn't comeback as a cameo. The only thing I can think of is that they must have seen some interruption in the cameo?
