Stopped by a savings bank where I struck out before. They had 690$ in halves! I went inside, they had a box and a partial box. Bought $610 with all I had on me from just before stopping there, I had cashed in my rejects.
Got in my car and hurriedly rim searched, since I had to get to work. Did em all. Found 1 '68d, a gold plated coin, and several BU keepers!
woohoo!
Cashed em right back in on way home.

Hi mtldealer, I was curious how you dump your coin? Are you able to dump $5,000 at one bank or do you spend several hours taking smaller amounts to different banks? Do your dump banks seem to be ok with it?

I've done my two BofA boxes for the week. First gave a 74D DDO. Second box resulted in 2 NIFC and 2 40%ers. Not great but a nice change of pace. As mentioned, I'm usually either high and dry or 10's and 20's. Nice to know there are still some boxes with a couple silvers. OO

Just went to dump $250 in halves at a small branch near me. The machine stopped after $14 bucks. Turns out the half dollar bag was full. As usual, I asked them if they ever sold bags out of the machine. As usual, they said no as they changed out two bags of quarters, one bag of dimes, and one bag of halves. I didn't get a look into the bags, but wished I could have purchased some of them!

@agibby5 One of my banks won't allow a "bag" to be sold, but once they roll them you can buy them. That's what I do with the halves. I would ask them what day they thought they would have the coin rolled and then go buy them then! Hope that helps.

Thanks JBuck and BernieZ!
That is the first Ben Franklin that I have found coin roll hunting. The pickings are pretty slim around here.
