Well a nice mixed bag in my 12 boxes this week, details below 38 nifc, including 18 from 2011........have yet to find a 2012 2002 s clad proof 2 more 1987 (10) 40% (3) 90% including one ben and a first for me, 6 magician coins. Hey whats the deal with those, are mine missing a coin from the middle? That mexican bird holding the snake is engraved on the inside of the tails part of the coin. Whats the going rate for these? Thinking gotta be 15-20$$ each, I will probably keep one. They opened real easy with the glass shake method.

A nice haul, halfhunter ! Quote: ...and a first for me, 6 magician coins. Amazing. They seem to be making more frequent appearances in the wild.

CrazyCat, looks like you need to update your signature! Great find. I can't believe they handed you such a coin. Looks like a good day for asking for coins at the dump bank!!

Not sure where you guys are, but at the banks around here you need an account to even get their attention for more than 2.5 seconds. Hence our 6 accounts or so.

Yes, very nice Walker, CrazyCat! Those are hard to get; most tellers snap them up before we find them.
Smokeriderdon, banks around here don't usually mind me picking up halves. Only a couple have ever asked me for my account number. However, I try to only dump at branches of my personal bank, just in case they ask. They have at a few branches, usually out of town.

Yinzi.....take the Magicians coin...put it in a heavy build glass...made of glass....put your hand over the top of the glass to keep it from flying out...then shake the beejeezus out of it until the two halves come apart! For me usually takes about three shakes ahhh one..... ahhh twooooo..... ahhhhh threee.....three....it takes three shakes to get to the center of a Magicians coin!
