I think I may hit some chapters of my CU today. I know two of them should be loaded to the rim in
coins seeing how people bring in a lot for the holidays.

Time to flip some funds against the credit line I guess. BTW, my best finds have been in dimes lately.

Looked through a roll from the bank and nothing special. I noticed a lot of the halves have a marking on Kennedy's face. I first thought it was wear from circulation but the pattern of almost everyone seemed to be PMD. Do people etch some marking on his face to know they have searched the particular coin and it is not silver?

nothing to post lately because my "new" bank manager refuses to order anymore. He even went as far as to send back my last 8 boxes I had ordered. They rolled them in and he told them to take them back with them instead of letting me buy them, while I was standing there. Wasn't even man enough to explain to my face why he did this, he just ignored me while he had a teller give me the bs news.

this guy doesn't do anything in that branch, and just sits at the computer all day. He actually doesn't even do the coin orders, and would never have to even touch them. Not one other employee there has a problem with the coins.

Had to resort to out of town orders, being delivered on Wednesday. A relative makes frequent trips from out of state and picks up $2K for me on the way over.

Hopefully be back with some good finds, haven't searched in over a month.

Bis, is your bank a regional, national, or local bank? If it's regional or national, I highly advise you to escalate the issue to corporate and get an answer from them as to why this guy won't let you engage in your hobby. It might take some work and lots of phone calls, but as long as there is no hard and fast policy against it, you should get him off your back in due time. He sounds like a pretentious that needs to learn that the bank exists to serve the needs of the customers (And yes, make money, but $40/week isn't going to kill them) and not just to take their money and give crap interest rates in return.

I have gone as far as threatening to close my account unless orders were resumed, and when orders weren't resumed, I dumped $100k in halves in 2 months, then closed my account. You need to let them know that there are basically two kinds of banks in your world... banks that order for you, and banks that take all your rejects. He has to decide which he's gonna be. Almost always, they'd rather order than deal with lots of rejects.

Congrats M0nks. Great to see all the silver finds. I'm thinking about doubling my standard order to $2k per week.

That sucks bish, do what fade say to do or move to a back up bank. Good finds monks.

There continues to be no action around here, HAd some time to kill before my last stop, I hit 8 banks yesterday for loose/cwr, and got 2 total clads. Grabbed another quarter box, and only 3 canadian teasers. My halves dont start to weds, I do have some time today, will try again, and see how many dimes I can get as back up.

I'm amazed at how much time and energy people spend trying to find $5 or $10 in silver... the time, energy, gas, effort, etc isn't worth it to me. For the amount of time it takes driving to the bank, sitting at the bank while they get the stuff from the vault, driving home, searching through all of the boxes, unrolling, bringing the huge amount of coins back, waiting for them to run them through the machine, switching the bags when they fill up, etc....
