Last box of the years was great. Got my first Walking Libery a 1945! Also a 64, 67 and 2009 proof.

Finished my last 2 boxes of the year. I wish I would have kept better track of everything I've found this year. Oh well, I guess I could start next year. I wonder how long it will take me to break this New Year's Resolution? Given my track record, probably by February. Box #1 results: 1 Magician coin 10 NIFC 6 Proofs 1 1986 (really abused) 2 1991 1 1996 1 1997 1 2005 1 40% Box #2 results: 3 NIFC 1 1979 Proof (really abused) 10 40% 1 90%

Nice finds, Murphy! I love seeing proofs and that "Magician's Penny" is excellent.

Last batch was pretty good and 12 more boxes for this year. Happy New Year, fellow CRHers!

Finally a little something this week.
10 boxes yielded (8) 40% (1) walking liberty
1 magicians, and 1 1982 no fg.
Good luck to everyone back up to 14 boxes next week.

Stopped at Fresh & Easy for pizza dough (did you hear, they will be closing their stores in the USA? Bummer; I like them!). There is a credit union office on that corner so I stopped in.
"Do you have any half dollars?", I ask. "Yes, we have two. One of them looks kinda rough." "Doesn't matter; I'll take it". "It's a 1946." "That's a good year. Thank you very much, and Happy New Year!"
It was actually a 1946-S with a decent reverse but the obverse was heavily stained, mostly black. I'll still take it!

love that GB magician's penny. I haven't seen one with a GB coin before.

I don't know how you guys do it, I've done three boxes so far and found nothing. Seems like everyone around me culls silver.
