Quick stop at a local C.U. today. Picked up some dimes and 3 rolls of half's. Decent find on the half's. 54 ea. total 40%er's out of the 3 rolls. No 64's or older, but what the heck. 65's through 69's. Not a one silver on the dimes out of $170.00 face. Seem to be doing pretty good on the half's lately when I do find them. Think that I should go back tomorrow and ask the same teller if she may of remembered whomever brought in the half's and if they may of brought some other rolled coin denom's in also with them.  |

4 rolls at local branch today produced 2 90% and 11 40%... Great day for me... The crazy thing is when asked the teller, she said she didn't have any... As I was walking away she stopped me and said she forgot she had received some that morning. Glad she stopped me.

LOL, first one that I just looked at is the brother (or sister:)to that 66 DDO bishftl posted. H'mmm, never even bothered checking 40%er's over the years for DDO's/DDR's. Also on 2 other 66's the profile was just doubled but not the motto. Strange, same doubling on the profile but not on the motto. any premium on these 66 DDO's before I dump em all. A few others (66) has what looks to be MD on the rev. lettering. |

Today I purchased 49 40%,4 90% ,a 1922 peace,and a 40% ike
In the $500 box of half I searched today I found a 2003,2008,1998 s proof and a 1976 D That appears to have a proof finish*i will try to upload pic when my batteries finish charging

Alright all you professional searchers out there... I'm looking for a comprehensive list of what to look for in my halves BY YEAR. Could someone please PM me or message here or e-mail or whatever works best. I'm sort of looking for something like: 82 No FG 83 DDO (look at R on Liberty for most detail) etc :) |
