cladking, I agree that the randomness is diminished because there are so many collectors looking through the coins. When the rolls I open are mostly sequential by date, I suspect that someone has gone through them in much the same way aas I do. My rolls of coins I have finished checking and don't want to keep end up in a sequential fashion.

microb, I thought it was 2003-present that were not circulated. I recently found a 2005 D from rolls I got at the bank.

The coins probbly were dunped in a coin machine and mised with others. Lucky you. I have gone through marked machine rolled and found silver. Not much but a few here and there. Worth the search

I kind of pictured someone watching TV or doing their 10th box in zombie mode worrying more about getting them marked than really checking for the silver, but hey I will take them any which way I can get them. :)

$300 in loose rolls from a drop-by bank today. They've allowed me to buy couple hundred at a time several times, without an account. Immediately went through them in the busy parking lot, and found a lone 40%, but I'll take it!

Simple $10 in CWR from the bank I found where I got my 11 x 1964s a week or so ago (in the teller tray).
Nothing to mention in the roll, but the head teller told me she could order me a few boxes of halves if I wanted them. So, in a few days, I plan on doing just that.
Also, I realized last week that the bank which once ordered them for me has a large branch downtown I was not aware they had. As I have stated, my local branch stop ordering them citing costs as the reason. Of course, the head teller had told me that there would be no additional costs to them to order them when I first started my orders. So, I knew the costs thing wasn't likely true. Also think the call was not from the local branch but from their headquarters which I am pretty sure is their downtown chapter. So, guess where my dumps are likely to go now? Yep, you got it!
Happy hunting everyone!

Stopped by 2 banks that I haven't been to in a couple of months. 1st bank: $60 cwr......2 40% 2nd bank: $120 cwr.....1 '62 Franklin + 3 40%. My daughter checked them for me, so she was very excited (me too).

I just finished a box and pulled 7 - 40% halves out Pretty cool. That's the most I've gotten from any box. Actually before this, I think only pulled 1 - 40% out of a box. This is only about the 7th or 8th box I've searched though.

great news ken! glad youre finally getting some boxes again. nice score kurry 7 in 1 box is excellent results.
today I went to put in an order and the teller tells me "someone" might want to have a word with you about the boxes you keep ordering since they dont circulate - I asked whos someone? she wouldnt say haha in a nutshell they are basically telling me most likely fees will be added to the boxes, looks like I might have to look for another bank again ha

First box ever for me today. Pulled one 67. I'll take it. Also picked up 200 in cwr... 8 rolls were UNC 2002s. Each roll had 10 from each mint. Found it to be very strange.
