angel2004,
I got lucky recently with 13 rolls from a bank and found 10 of them were 40% silvers.

M0nks,

Thanks amigo. I did pick up some machine rolled dimes from my new banks and they
were Strings & Sons. So, this could be interesting if they also get their halves
from them.

I remember earlier threads where Strings tended to produce better than Brinks.

Way to go halfhunter. Is that a personal best? I can't imagine how long it takes to look through 492 boxes. Or is that a running total? I'm kinda new to half dollar searches and forgot to look for the 1974 D double die obverse. I hope I didn't miss one. (Well I guess I would not want to know if I had one in my hands and let it go.)

I think it stand for customer rolled coins. In other words, coins that someone brought into the bank instead of getting rolls that are provided to the bank from the Feds.

CWR - Customer Wrapped Rolls
LCU / CU - Local Credit Union
LCS - Local Coin Shop
BU - Brilliant Uncirculated (coins)

Just some common abbreviations you may encounter as a newbie.

The most iv done in a week is like 22 boxes or so. This week will be 19 boxes. Yeah the 492 is my running total for a little over a year, I started with 2 boxes and increased weekly orders over time. There are plenty of people that do double or triple that in a week, I know of 5 or 6 on this board and another.
