I would love to find a few Walker enders in a box. Heck, for that matter, I would love to find any silver enders in a box.
To date, I have only found three enders if my memory serves me correctly.

Just finished 5 $1000 bags and 5 boxes. No silver. Several proofs but that's it.

I figured I would give my two month total for halves 25 boxes 33 40% 2 90% 20 of these boxes were skunks and one box had one 90% so like everyone else it is kind of feast or famine. This is a wierd question but does anybody know how brinks, garda, etc.. receive halves is it a pallet of boxes? If so how many bxes per unit? or do they just keep re-rolling coins as they come in? I would love to get into some different boxes. My average is somewhat common but it does not show that the five boxes that I have got silver in are the only five boxes that I ordered from one bank the other twenty skunks are from another bank. Of course I would order more from the bank that I am actually finding silver from but I can only order one box every two weeks and I am not going to mess with the only thing that is working (as you know it can kill me to wait two weeks for a box, especially knowing that afer about eight months from this bank I think I have only been skunked on one or two boxes). I also know that this can only last for so long especially knowing that one other person is also ordering. On my other boxes will I ever break into different boxes?

gold panner, from what it looks like to me they collect coin from banks, they have machines they dump coin it that removes the wrapper or they remove it from a bag then it goes to a wrapper. If someone just dumped a bunch, say in a 500 or 1000 dollar bag, you can very easily get a LOT of that dump in one, two, or a few boxes. I one time got enough to put together a book, it was obvious that someone had dumped a collection and most of the coins had hung out together long enough to get rolled and boxed into the boxes I picked up.

Going for two more boxes this week. With taxes thinning the bank account a bit, will probably pick up one box Wed and the other on Friday. Hopefully, will find some similar to my first three boxes and not at all like my last two.
Last two boxes seemed to be a dump. There were tons of marked coins.

So I'm taking my 3k bank roll this week and getting a total of 9 boxes...
If all 9 boxes are skunks then I'm going to the stock market. No more doing a grand or two a week and not getting anything. Just a waste of time.

Every time I am at the bank dumping I look at the sing they have.
.1% on a 6 month CD.
And I think it may be up to 1% on a 10 year CD minimum $1K deposit.
I sit and do the math in my head. 1% on $1K is $10 in 10 years. I can take $1K and get 2 boxes of halves today and all I need to find is 1 90% and I am doing better than those rates.
Just think what I could parlay those 2 boxes into in 10 years with a little work of searching and dumping. Even if I skunked 3 out of 4 weeks and only scores 1 90% a month I would still be up 120 times that payout in 10 years.
That is why I CRH and never miss a week.

I had to stop at the grocery store to buy some milk.
There are 2 stores 1/2 mile apart depending on which road I want to take.
Against my better judgment I went for store #2.
I went out of my last week to stop there to hit up their in store bank since I hadn't been there in 2 months and store #1 has the teller who told me he picks all of the silver.
I waited and chatted up 2 customers in line for 5 minutes until I said forget it on bought what I needed and after waiting 8 minutes in the checkout line I could still see the guy in front of me at the bank line was finally next up.
Anywho I asked if they had any halves or dollar coins and the teller said he had 2 but the other teller had 4 rolls. He didn't specify if they were halves or dollar coins.
I will either have to cut out early tomorrow on sort night and try to get them or come back on Wednesday dump night rotation and hope he still has them.

Quote: Jack jeckel- 1% on $1000 is $100 in ten years Seems like a long time to tie up money for a minuscule return. I make over a hundred dollars in a single day. I like Jack's idea a bit better!

Well if my understanding of CDs is wrong (which it may as well be) I will gladly throw $25K in a 10 year when rates go back up to the normal and acceptable non government bailout days of 5% which according to your math would be 50% over 10 years.
The only reason why I don't move $25K a week in halves with the above said money is I have to work 6 days a week for guaranteed money and there are not enough banks in the area to pick up and unload said amount without having to buy donuts and pizza on a weekly basis VS monthly basis to have them on my side.

Picked up my usual 8 boxes on Friday and opened my first box to see 4 40% enders. My heart was pumping away as I went through the box - it produced 3 1964 and 24 40%. This was the second week in a row that I scored 27 silver in one box! The other 7 boxes yielded 1 1964 and 6 40%. Hopefully, my lucky streak will continue this week. Happy hunting to all.

I picked up another $300 in CWR over the weekend. The teller seemed very excited to be getting rid of them. She did mention that they went through them, but did offer me the 40% half that she had in her tray. The $300 was a bust. I should have some time this afternoon to ask around a few banks I haven't checked yet, but I think its about time I find one to start ordering for me. Here is a pic of the clipped planchet I found last week. Is this a clipped planchet or just a damaged half? Are these common to find?
