Should have two boxes waiting on me today. Will try to get them later in the afternoon. Cleaning up the house for company next week from Texas. Also, trying to organize a lot of stuff.
Will post results later if all goes well.

I picked up 4 boxes of halves yesterday. 3 were skunks. 1 produced 2 40% and a 1944 Walker. I'll be picking up 2 more boxes today.

Well, decided to dump my nickels and dimes and check out a bank near where I pick up my spouse from work. Went in doubting they would have any halves beyond a loose few (no one around here does). They said they had some rolls in the back, and as I had $60 on me I asked for six. One keeper out of the rolls, but it's a '52 Franklin, so I'm happy with that. I'll be checking them out again tomorrow evening.

4 boxes today.
4 NIFC, 1 proof, no silver.
Hopefully the 6 boxes tomorrow (if the new vault teller ordered them) will be better.

6 boxes of halves. A few bent crunched dented ones, a holed, a plugged, an acid dipped, some NIFC, a Panama, a worn out 1997, a tin gold colored something, 8 40%ers, and a Franklin.

wow nice Jack. What bank do you use? Local or a chain? I'm in PA so don't worry, I'm not stealing your bank. :P

I have a standing order of 6K a week from Chase, 2K a week from BMO used to be M & I, and 1K a week from Associated Bank with a floating $500 box from a second BMO branch if I have off of work on a Saturday.

Jack, what's the year on the Panama? If it's '65 or earlier, it's identical in size and composition to a 64 Kennedy, if it's '66-'72 it's a 40%.

So add a 64 Kennedy to my total this week - stopped at a local bank to check if they had any, and they had a bag of $62.50 in loose halves. They counted it out, put it back in the bag, and right on top was a 64 Kennedy. The rest of the bag yielded two NIFC - 2005-P, 2006-D.

Thanks! I started out using Bank of America but I'm not really getting much out of those boxes. I was curious what other branches might be good to try.

I opened an account at North Shore Bank last fall because I a Brinks truck outside every Monday I has picking up next door from Chase and thought I could expand my pool with Brinks boxes.
Turned out they also had Loomis rolls.
If you ask around enough I bet all banks in your area get all of their rolls from the same source so no matter where you pick up or dump at you get the same coins.
