People could just trade ammo:
.50 cal = 50 cents .44 cal = 25 cents .38 cal / 9mm = 10 cents .30 cal / 7.62mm = 5 cents .22 cal / 5.56mm = 1 cent
Paying taxes could be fun and interesting!

Quote: And this is just wun pile that was found in the RAID ... Not quite 22 billion . Even one billion would be 10 million $100 bills and multiple tons in weight. Now multiply that times 22. Edit: Pictured was a little over $200M. A little short of $22B http://www.snopes.com/photos/crime/drugmoney.asp

$22 Billion is half a million pounds of $100's, call it something north of 200 pallets. Ten 40ft trailers, 5 if you double stack but then they'd be well overweight.

Overestimating numbers by a factor of 100x goes a bit beyond "acceptable error". Imagine these people finding cash on the ground. "Oh sweet, a hundred bucks! I'm rich and the government will never know what I'll spend it on! ...oh no, it's just a dollar. Whoops." Quote: not goin very far out on a limb here to say, when cash is outlawed outlaws will have a lot of bum wipe, and OUR corrupt cover-up-mint won't have to account for ANY OF IT. let that soak in for a minuet I try to let it soak in all I like but I still don't get it. Do you have a source that isn't formatted like timecube.com?

im 25 and before I was 20 I used cash 90% of the time. now I use card 90% of the time. while its always good to have both in reality the vast majority of people deal in credit these days. unless you do contracts for people you personally know or have a small store most people get their money via credit to required accounts or checks for contract work.
most places that arnt mom and pop shops want card as if its not the owner handling the money they are more concerned about being robbed than saving a small percent.
i give it 20 years before a call from banks to come turn your physical cash in is made. the government has absolutely no benefit that I can see to the country using cash instead of credit. I think gold and silver may rise to take place of day trading to avoid government eyes.

Quote: At a coin show, today, half the vendors were set up for cash only. The others would take a card or accept PayPal via smartphone. That is a trend in itself. Ten to 15 years ago you would be unlikely to find anyone at a coin show accepting anything other than cash or check Quote: OK so now what do you do with a .357? How about a .32 or .177 or .40 cal? I've never been to a coin show where dealers took plastic. With that being said, I've haven't attended the ANA, FUN, or Baltimore shows.

Does .22 Win Mag carry a premium over .22LR?
