Does adding a "bank card chip" to a coin really add much value?

Is it suppose to add value because of the artist?

I honestly believe this coin has been ruined!

This ebay add states:
"We would like to remind you that the buying of the GMO antique may be an investment with a far greater yield than the one of the investment gold"

Can somebody from Canada let those fools know they're destroying antiquities? My US ebay membership doesn't let me log on to that site.

And anyone advertising a 'collectible', particularly something he's ginned up, as an "investment opportunity" is a son of Iblis.

That's a shame. Some idiots figured if you can chip a cat or dog, why not a coin? I understand the desire to ensure authenticity but this is not the way to do it.

Bah! Foolishness.

I note that the Vandals have extended their territories as far as Bulgaria now.

This is what I messaged them, including the title:

Quote:
Your shared trait with ISIS

Islamic radicals are destroying historic artifacts all over the territory they control, erasing our precious history. This is what you're doing here. You are becoming ISIS to the numismatic community, destroying the history we work our lifetimes to preserve. Would you do this to a First Nations artifact?

Never mind. I already know the answer.

My reaction to that might well be my (enforced) last post at Coin Community.
