I cancelled my second LT gold, I think I would rather get the new Superman gold coming in July, if the rumors are true.

Most little boys grew up wishing they were Superman (a boyhood idol of sorts). Thus the latent nexus in the gold Superman coin.
I don't know of a single boy who wanted to be Bugs Bunny, or Yosemite Sam. So the interest in these LT coins should wane in comparison.
Hummm.... Who ever wanted to grow up as a "peanut"? http://www.mint.ca/store/coin/5ounc....VUl8U8J0zuoThis coin still sells very well.... Who knows?

So, as expected, not much interest for not pure, overpriced, colorized gold LT coin. People just looking, shaking heads, adding to "watch list", and passing over it - cause more impressive issues expected to come. And if someone bought to resell, and not for collection - better to return to RCM, or just to drop it in price (slightly below CAD 950 will be ok)...but be first, cause other will do the same. And whoever added it to the collection - congrats for new coin! Pictures always appreciated.

Everyone grew up watching Looney Tunes as a kid but how many are Looney Tune fanatics willing to drop $900 on a coin? Its like the Disney coins by Perth Mint where so many people say they will be a big hit since there are millions of Disney fans. But would they spend $900 on a coin or use the money on for a trip to Disneyland?

Disneyland, for sure I think the Disney, Looney Tunes, Superman and other fans - they not necessarily collect the staff related to the hero. They will buy comic book or the records -cause this is original media, but even will not think about paying hundreds of dollars for the coin.

How do coins like this one get out on ebay before they are even on the RCM website? http://www.ebay.ca/itm/111658343095?nav=SEARCHI logged into my masters club account and can't seem to find it there. Can someone confirm that the mintage on this one will be upped to 350K like the one advertised?

Not sure why people are buying the gold coin from online sources. The coin is still available at the Ottawa RCM store.

Ordered some of the Bugs $20 for $20 coins. The design looked nice, seems affordable and will probably make nice gifts.
