A note submitted to PCGS going on 3 months. I called PMG and they told me their economy service is running about 70 days.

GEEZ!

I have a few notes I've been wanting to get graded as well as one to get regraded. I'll be going the PMG route I think, with standard or express service. Something about waiting MULTIPLE MONTHS to get a note back just doesn't sound appealing.

Wheatback, when you get the regrades please post the results. I plan to also submit PMG notes graded in their early days long before EPQ designation. I am pretty sure they will upgrade. If you want to know why I say that, just PM me.

Does this hint at the possibility that there will be so many graded notes out there eventually that the existing ones will be devalued?

That's always a possibility, coins included.
Compare the price of coins graded PF-70 shortly after their release against a year later.
