If that isn't legit, it must be a homemade counterfeit since it doesn't appear to be an altered 1944-D.

The 1909-S VDB turned a generation into Lincoln collectors, meaning everybody knew the 1914-D was going to be a Key in real time. No doubt they've been being faked in some form or another since the fall of 1914.

Now here is something interesting. Present bid is $5.50. Shipping is $2.32. Seller states for first purchase you get $15 back. So if things stay the same a bidder will pay $7.82 for that coin and get $15 back. ?
