Is it possible to send coins to Canada in a letter envelope w/o having to fill out a customs form? I don't think it's safe to list the contents on those forms.

Yes. Customs forms don't kick in until a higher weight kicks in, or registered mail. Perhaps other keys as well. Postage to Canada is $1.15 for up to 2 ounces so you can sandwich the coin between chipboard with no problem.

Make sure you mark the envelope as NON-MACHINABLE (costs extra) or your coin could pop out at the sorting office.

I've purchased postage to Canada through PayPal Shipping and there were no forms, just a couple extra questions similar to a customs form. Same thing with USPS Online postage I believe.
