Okay, is this what an overdipped coin looks like or is it just the lighting of the photo? Huge die break on reverse at the bottom.

Has the appearance of the coins that I tried cleaning with vinegar, but never rinsed fully.

I don't know about over-dipped. The coin just looks dusty from those pics, there are spots where the toning doesn't extend to though, and it appears to quite bright underneath the patina, so I guess it was dipped before. The coin grades good AU, but hard to tell as to the full extent of it's grade from those pics. By the way, that's a nice die crack!

To my eye it looks like a WB-103 due to the very similar Cuds and cracks found on this Heritage example

I also recall reading that Seated halves dated between 1859 and 1865 were discovered in Guatemala in the 1950s. These were cleaned with baking soda or abrasive.

Now whether that is the case for this one, I don't have the experience to be able to give an answer.

It looks at least AU-50 to me.
