As you can see from peaece13's photo manipulation, it is very easy to do so without leaving a lot of evidence behind. This is something we all need to keep in mind while shopping for coins online - what you see is not necessarily what you will receive. Always take images with a grain of salt until you can get the coin in-hand and truly look at it. Report this Post to the Staff

There is a new picture, but remarkably the spot is very washed out, not nearly as pronounced as the original picture from the Stacks Auction.
