I recently purchased a Mercury dime off of ebay for 11$, I know it is worth much more. But I was just curious, it happens to be ms65 if not higher, full split bands. 1940S MS65(A good guess) Full bands

How much would you guys price this? Not looking for a professional, just curious thats all.

NumisMedia has the 1940-S MS-65 FSB at $60, which represents retail.
Rest in Peace

And as noted photos should be attempted. What some think is MS-65 or -64 could well be a MS-60 or less. I've seen Merc Dimes with FSB's and only graded as MS-60 and some less. FSB's do not make for a high grade. Usually high graded Merc's do have FSB's but not necessarily. Take the 45 for ecample. Could be MS-67 and no FSB's.
