I don't think that counts as a Cud. Maybe. But die chip and die crack. Nice find. I would keep it. 1 cent. Others would not but I would keep it.

I would keep it too it looks like a die crack coming off of a die chip on the edge of a die. That I think qualifies as a Cud but maybe not cause it doesn't look like it goes off the edge ? I will wait for an expert

Not a Cud due to as you said, does not go to edge but definitely a neat find.

The fact that this is a Zlincoln makes this look weird as heck - that line between die break and rim shouldn't be there. I don't think it would be if it were all copper. It's the cladding, and if you strip the cladding I think you see only continuous metal without the demarcation between break/rim and break/letter. I'm still a little bothered by why the break stopped there - that should be a relief ring around the edge of the die - but I can live with that. Stranger things have happened, and it looks like the break has chipped into the edge of the ring somewhat.

I hate Zlincolns. They don't play by the rules.

It looks like it also has a linear plating bubble.

It's a pretty awesome coin, since it's a zincoid, you need to put it in an airtight container.
