The Trade dollar is fake; he is also selling a bank wrapped, tightly crimped roll of "original" Morgan dollars, too! Those may be real, but the bank wrapped crimped thingy is a little bit far-fetched.

No decision necessary. It's a Type 2 Reverse, not introduced until 1875. It can't be real. The seller expressed concern in the auction copy, and remember that it's not illegal for him to sell, in Ireland. For those reasons I chose to inform him with the utmost of respect regarding it. If it isn't down in 6 hours - after the end of the Irish workday - I report it.

It's pretty obvious its going to be a fake, look at how vague the title is..

You checked the seller's record before posting this, right? What's it look like?

He's Irish. Gaelic may be his first language. And he sells mostly PCGS slabbed stuff. A pretty fair amount of it.

He said in the listing he wasn't sure if the coin is real or not.
