ok, So the points of interest are above the E there is a couple raised line, some what looks like small die chips in fron of the face. Also there is a small tail coming off the rim just below the date. And I'm not sure if the dot behind the head is a contact hit. I'm working on better pics.
So in my efforts to learn I just want to know what the cause is.

The mark under the date is a die dent.

The mark looks like a coin fin. No big money for these as they fairly common. Slight MAD on the obverse.

Ok. Thanks coop. I knew you would have an answer. Now I remember seeing a topic on die dents. Any thoughts on the marks above the E? Is there such thing as a double die dent? It almost looks like it could be two right next to each other.

That looks like Die Deterioration. The die is showing die flow in several areas of the fields. So the die that struck your coin is showing it's age.
