ilikeikes Pillar of the Community United States 1205 Posts	Posted 05/04/2015 2:12 pm I'd like to thank Ken Potter for first examining these coins. He had a Numismatic News article about a new Double Die 1964-D Dime found late last year. I scoured my roosie albums, and, sent him the 1953-S and 1955-S, in 2 shipments. He gave them both flying colors, as far as double die designation. They then were sent to John Wexler, where he gave them official WDDO-OO1 numbers for cataloging, then, off to Anacs for grading. Coins back. Check your dimes for doubling on the lips...thus the nickname "Hotlips". Sorry the 55-S pic is dark..it is a BU coin too, it's just the lighting made it look rough.
