I'd like to thank Ken Potter for first examining these coins. He had a Numismatic News article about a new Double Die 1964-D Dime found late last year. I scoured my roosie albums, and, sent him the 1953-S and 1955-S, in 2 shipments. He gave them both flying colors, as far as double die designation. They then were sent to John Wexler, where he gave them official WDDO-OO1 numbers for cataloging, then, off to Anacs for grading. Coins back. Check your dimes for doubling on the lips...thus the nickname "Hotlips". Sorry the 55-S pic is dark..it is a BU coin too, it's just the lighting made it look rough.

That is awesome sir! Not one,but two pieces! Those are something I think every numismatic attains for. A discovery piece(or two) with their name on it.
